Risen Church to Launch Services at Northern Pacific Center, Invites Community to Easter Celebration

Brainerd, MN – April 3 – Risen Church is excited to announce its new location at the Northern Pacific Center (NPC), beginning Easter Sunday, April 20th, with services held at 10:00 AM in the Exchange Building. This move marks a significant milestone for the church, which has experienced remarkable growth and community impact since its inception in 2022.

Risen Church’s journey began with a profound question posed by Pastor Jason Erickson’s wife, Kara, prompting a leap of faith and a calling to serve the Brainerd Lakes Area. After months of prayer and discernment, the church, led by Pastor Jason, transitioned from meeting in private homes to the Northland Arboretum, and now finds its permanent home at the iconic Northern Pacific Center.

“We believe God has a divine purpose for Risen Church in Brainerd, ‘for such a time as this,’” says Pastor Jason. “We are called to share the saving hope of Jesus with those seeking true hope, peace, and salvation.”

The church’s move to NPC is a testament to the strong relationship built with Mike and Justina at Northern Pacific Center. Pastor Jason had long envisioned the location as a perfect home for Risen Church, and after divine timing and conversations, the vision has become a reality.

“The Northern Pacific Center is a landmark in our community, and we are incredibly blessed to establish our presence here,” Pastor Jason adds. “We aim to be a welcoming place for everyone, whether they are seasoned churchgoers or exploring faith for the first time.”

Risen Church is committed to being a face in the community, not just a place. They plan to host various community events on the NPC grounds, fostering connection and fellowship among residents. Pastor Jason emphasizes a biblical, context-driven approach to preaching, focusing on the relevance of scripture in today’s world.

Easter Sunday Celebration and Invitation

To celebrate their new location and the joyous occasion of Easter, Risen Church invites the community to join them for a special Easter Sunday service at 10:00 AM in the Exchange Building at Northern Pacific Center.

Additionally, the community is invited to an Easter Breakfast Buffet held in the Luminary at Northern Pacific Center from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Hosted by Executive Chef Matt Annand and the team at Notch 8, this buffet promises a delightful culinary experience for all attendees. Reservations recommended and can be made by calling 218-454-6688.

“We are excited to welcome everyone to celebrate Easter with us and experience the warmth and fellowship of Risen Church,” says Pastor Jason.
