Lakeview Behavioral Health Announces Expansion and Relocation to Brainerd’s Northern Pacific Center

Lakeview offers a range of services designed to support individuals and families in achieving optimal mental health and well-being.

Brainerd, MN – March 13, 2025 – Lakeview Behavioral Health is excited to announce its relocation to a significantly larger and modernized facility at the Northern Pacific Center in Brainerd, effective May 1st, 2025. This move marks a significant milestone in Lakeview’s commitment to providing enhanced behavioral health services to the community.

The new location, approximately double the size of the current facility, will offer improved parking accessibility, a more spacious and welcoming environment, and modernized facilities designed to enhance both client care and staff operations.

“We are thrilled to be moving to the Northern Pacific Center,” said Tom Johnson, CEO of Lakeview Behavioral Health. “This expansion allows us to not only improve the client experience with updated amenities and a more comfortable setting, but also to streamline workflows for our staff, fostering better collaboration and more efficient care.”

Expanded services, including additional therapy spaces and improved facilities for outpatient care, will be available beginning May 1, 2025.

Enhanced Patient Experience and Expanded Services:

The new location will feature dedicated spaces for group therapy, family counseling, and other specialized programs, providing a tailored and supportive environment. Expanded services, including additional therapy spaces and improved facilities for outpatient care, will also be available. Clients will benefit from the center’s proximity to other businesses and resources within the Northern Pacific Center, including a coffee shop, offering convenient access to additional amenities.

“Our goal is to ensure a seamless transition for our current clients, with minimal disruption to their ongoing treatment,” added Zack Kahmeyer, COO. “We are committed to maintaining the same hours of operation and service availability, ensuring continuity of care.”

The new location will also feature technology and equipment that enhances client care including our telehealth capabilities. Lakeview plans to expand its team to accommodate the larger space and meet the growing demand for its services.

Strategic Location at Northern Pacific Center:

The Northern Pacific Center’s strategic location, larger modernized space, and accessibility made it an attractive choice for Lakeview’s expansion. Lakeview Behavioral Health aims to contribute to the center’s vision of holistic healthcare and community well-being, fostering a collaborative environment that addresses diverse client needs.

Transition and Public Notification:

The move is expected to be completed by May 1st, 2025, with client services beginning immediately after the transition. Lakeview Behavioral Health will notify the public through press releases, social media announcements, and direct communication with current client. An open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony, in partnership with the local chamber of commerce, will be held to introduce the new location and its services to the community.

Lakeview Behavioral Health anticipates challenges during the relocation process, including minimizing disruptions to client care and ensuring a smooth transition for staff. The organization is committed to addressing these challenges effectively and maintaining continuity of care.
